Swedish International of Aramean origin Kennedy Bakircioglu looks set to conclude a deal with Spanish club Racing Santander by the close of today, according to tribalfootball. The ex-Ajax midfielder was released earlier this week and Racing have wasted no time in securing his services.

It appears he will sign a two-year deal with the Primera Liga side, who just managed to avoid relegation last season after a spirited end to the campaign.

Kennedy made 26 appearances for Ajax, scoring four goals after joining the Dutch giants 2007.
